Juggling Club Launched

Mecklenburg Union FC is introducing a new effort to encourage work outside of practice on juggling. 

The Mecklenburg Union FC Juggle Club will have four levels of achievement which are 50, 75, 100 and 200 touches.  Players will be awarded and rated in the following manner:

50 Touches - Honorary Member
- Club Member listed on Juggle Club section of web site
 
75 Touches - Red Member
- Club Member listed on Juggle Club section of web site
 
100 Touches - White Member
- Club Member listed on Juggle Club section of web site
 
200 Touches - Navy Member
- Club Member listed on Juggle Club section of web site
- Member issued a Juggle Club Red Member T-shirt

Honorary Members:  
Megan Sauciuc, 93 Girls White

RULES:
1. Players must use their feet to get the ball in the air to start the count. The count returns to zero if the ball hits the ground. All touches have to comply with soccer rules such as using feet, thighs, and head. Any handball ends the count which means start over using feet. WISA

2. Players must be evaluated by a coach or adult.
 
3. Reporting: The players who reach a level of achievement will notify their coach, who will report the number of consecutive juggles to the coordinator, Chip Wiggins.  Coach Wiggins can be contacted at chip.wiggins@matthewssoccerclub.com

This year’s club will be sponsored by the Wingate International Soccer Academy.  They will be providing awards to all the Navy club members for the 2008-09 year.
